Stephen Goodman was previously CEO of VSA for five years from September 2017 to July 2022. Prior to that he had a 33 year career in the Royal New Zealand Air Force, part of the New Zealand Defence Force, during which he held a range of responsibilities as a specialist Logistics Officer, before moving into broader and more senior leadership roles within operations, strategic planning, and diplomatic representation. He has significant experience working within the Asia-Pacific region. Stephen was made a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit (MNZM) in the 2005 New Year Honours.
