Looking for a meaningful way to contribute? An application is your first step toward transforming your life and the lives of others. 

Stage 1: Application

We recruit for in-country and e-volunteering opportunities with our international partners all year round. If you see a volunteer role that matches your skills and experience, simply click on "apply online" when looking at our opportunities.

  • Download, read and save the assignment description.

  • Complete an online application.

  • Check with your nominated referees that they are prepared to provide a reference for you.

Stage 2: Selection

Shortlisted candidates are invited to participate in online interviews.

Stage 3: Pre-departure

If you are selected for an in-country assignment our staff will assist you to complete the pre-departure process.

If you have been selected for an e-volunteering opportunity you will attend a virtual pre-deployment briefing.

 

 

VSA covers flights, accommodation, insurance and some expenses. A living allowance is also provided.
